1 short story

I couldn’t come up with a list to go with this but wanted to share…

  1. So I was leaving my house on my way to work last week and a 4 year old and his grandfather were walking by as I locked my door. The grandfather was explaining what a bullseye is for. For a minute or two I didn’t hear anything more until I heard the grandfather say, “No, I think it’s good to know a little about everything.” The kid took a minute to absorb that thought and then said confidently “Except drugs.”

It’s quite bizarre to encounter a list containing only one item and have it make any sense. Do you have any idea how grammatically confounding this this?

I know I know. One time out of 60+ is forgivable don’t you think?
